JREF to attend QED in 2012

QED is delighted to announce that joining our contingent of overseas speakers is D.J. Grothe, President of the James Randi Educational Foundation.

The JREF has been at the forefront of critical thinking and skeptical activism worldwide since 1996 and as well as the famous/infamous $1m challenge runs an educational outreach programme with scholarships and educational materials that encourage critical thinking.

D.J. is a former magician and psychic entertainer, and cut his skeptical teeth as Vice President and Director of Outreach Programs at the Center for Inquiry. He has been president of the JREF since the beginning of 2010 and we're sure he will offer an excellent insight into the global picture of skepticism today.

We hope you will be just as excited as we are at the prospect of welcoming him to Manchester in March 2012.

This is a rare opportunity to meet with the President of arguably the most prominent skeptical organisation in the world. Don't miss out. Get your ticket now at only £89 for the full weekend. Leave it too late and you may be disappointed.
