QED is a two-day science and skepticism conference taking place in the Piccadilly Hotel, Manchester on the 10th-11th March 2012.

Fantastic speakers from the worlds of science and entertainment will be joining us for a weekend celebration of science, reason and critical thinking.

Latest Update

Huge thanks to everyone who helped make QED this year a success. Thanks especially to all our hard-working volunteers; to our fantastic guest speakers; but most of all to the attendees. It was a blast.

Supporting Good Science

At our 2011 event we raised £5,262, which was donated to the National Autistic Society and Sense About Science. We have decided to support these two charities again for 2012 and hope to raise even more money in support of good science.

QED is organised by North West Skeptical Events Ltd on behalf of the Greater Manchester Skeptics Society and the Merseyside Skeptics Society.
